Pleasant Prairie Professional Firefighters Local 3785 Charities, announces the 2019 Cooper Memorial Scholarship.

David Cooper proudly served the Village of Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue Department for 37 years. In 2013 David
unexpectedly passed away after a short fight with an aggressive form of cancer. He was six months from retirement.

David’s passion for the job was surpassed only by his love for his family and dedication to give back to the community.

He was heavily involved with his church, helping out with whatever needed to be done. He was a guy who would do
anything for anyone. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist young men and women who share David’s passion
to give back to his community and are pursuing a career in a fire service or EMS related field.
